A man was treated for minor injuries this morning after his car veered off the A1(M) and came to rest on a grass verge.
Emergency services were called just after 9.30am after reports that a Rolls Royce had left the southbound carriageway near to Junction 8 for Stevenage.
An ambulance spokesman said a man in his 50s was treated for minor injuries at the scene and did not have to be taken to hospital.
The car has since been recovered.
