A MAN has been taken to hospital with neck and back injuries after a car crash in Stevenage.

The man, in his forties, had to be cut out of his car after colliding with another vehicle in Broadhall Way between Broadwater Crescent and Oaks Cross at around 4.45pm.

An ambulance has taken the man to Lister Hospital, while the other driver was unhurt.

Broadhall Way had to be closed while the man was cut free, causing heavy traffic delays around Broadhall Way.

Police hope to re-open the road shortly.
