A man is in a serious condition in hospital after a two-car collision this morning.
Emergency services – including an air ambulance – were called to the A600 in Shefford at about 8am following reports of a crash.
A man in his 40s was treated for head injuries at the scene, and was taken to Bedford Hospital by land ambulance in a serious but stable condition.
The ambulance service treated a second man in his 30s – believed to be the driver of the other car – for minor injuries at the scene.
