A man has been cut out of his car this afternoon after a tree fell onto his vehicle in Stevenage.
The ambulance service was called at 3.33pm to the Hitchin Road end of Martins Way, by The Barclay School.
The fire service was asked to attend after the man complained of neck pains, and they were required to cut off the roof of his vehicle in order to get him out.
The section of Martins Way between Hitchin Road roundabout and Grace Way is temporarily closed.
The man is being treated for his injuries in hospital.
