A MAN in his early 20s was cut free from his car after a multi-vehicle crash on the A505 earlier this morning (Monday).

The ambulance service were called to the road, which runs from Royston to Baldock, at 8.37am, a paramedic ambulance from Letchworth attended the scene.

Gary Sanderson, ambulance service spokesman, said: “The six vehicles involved collided approaching the Letchworth turn off on the A505.

“A man in his early 20s required cutting free by the fire service and luckily he received minor injuries.

“Following treatment by paramedics and stabilisation by paramedics, he was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
