A MAN was hospitalised after a collision with a tree in Hitchin this afternoon (Friday).
It happened in Willow Lane just after 12.15pm. Ambulance crews were called and police were also at the scene, with the road partially blocked.
The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to Lister Hospital. His injuries aren’t life-threatening.
