A MAN who was found lying in a road in Stevenage last week is still in hospital but is making a good recovery.
Emergency services attended a man in his 60s who was spotted lying by the roundabout junction where the A602 Hitchin Road meets Coreys Mill Lane on Thursday morning.
Following a police investigation, it has been confirmed that the man was taken ill and was not involved in a road accident.
He is currently recovering in Lister Hospital.
Police had closed the A602 for a short time causing severe congestion during the Thursday morning rush hour.
