A man was cut free from his car by the fire service after a crash this afternoon (Friday).

Emergency services were called at 1.31pm to an incident on Great North Road, near Baldock services, after a crash between two cars.

The fire service used cutting equipment to free a man from his car.

The man and two others were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries at around 2pm.

The crash was the second on Great North Road in the space of three hours.
