A 22-year-old man from Luton was arrested on suspicion of taking without consent and dangerous driving, after two cars were in collision with each other. He has been bailed by police until September 22.

One of the cars – a silver Vauxhall Corsa – flipped onto its roof as a result of the collision. It was recovered at the scene along with the other vehicle – a blue BMW 318.

Damage was caused to the road, with some tarmac gauged out, but no one was seriously injured.
