The East of England Ambulance Service were alerted to a collision on Gresley Way in Stevenage shortly after 4pm, and an air ambulance from Cambridgeshire was called to the scene, landing on a grassed area next to the road.

The male driver of a red Ford Focus was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and a female driver from the grey Vauxhall Astra also involved was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage after receiving injuries to her arm.
