MAINTENANCE work will see lanes closed in both directions of the A1(M) across five junctions from tonight (Monday) until next week.
A scheme by the Highways Agency to replace signage and remove lighting columns on the A1(M) will see one lane closed from junction 6 for Welwyn and junction 10 for Stotfold in both directions from 8pm tonight.
Works will continue nightly - excluding Saturday and Sunday - between the hours of 8pm and 7am until next Tuesday, October 18.
Work to remove lighting columns and feeder pillars will also see one lane closed southbound and northbound between junctions 6 for Welwyn and junction 7 for Stevenage between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Thursday and Friday.
There will be further closures on the strech near Knebworth from Monday, October 17, until Friday, October 21, between 10pm and 6am.
