Two lorries have blocked a road in Codicote after getting wedged together.
Police were alerted at 12.34pm after two lorries became stuck in St Albans Road, but said the matter was being dealt with by Herts County Council’s highways department.
It is believed the lorries were travelling to and from the nearby Anstey Quarry.
One resident said: “Lorries are going back and forth to the quarry all the time. They are huge lorries going through a little village, and people living here are fed up.”
