There are long traffic delays around Hitchin after a two-car collision in Preston this morning.
Emergency services were called to School Lane at about 9.20am after a collision between a black BMW one-series and a black Volkswagen Golf.
No-one was injured, but Highways were alerted over ‘black ice concerns’ and called to recover one of the vehicles which was blocking the road at the junction with Hitchwood Lane.
The two vehicles were recovered at about 11.23am, but there are still long delays.
