There were long delays between Hitchin and Stevenage this morning after a two-car crash.
Emergency services were called to Hitchin Road at about 7.50am following a collision between a bronze Toyota Corolla and a grey Vauxhall Vectra, which caused serious damage to both vehicles.
The road was closed at St Michael’s Road while the two cars were recovered.
There were no injuries reported at the scene and the road was reopened at 9am.
