Two people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the edge of Stevenage this morning.
The crash, which happened at about 8.10am at the junction of North Road and the B197 Graveley Road, involved a blue Ford Focus and a grey Mercedes.
A witness told the Comet the crash appeared to have been head-on. A police spokeswoman said recovery was being arranged for both vehicles.
Two ambulance crews attended, and treated two at the scene before taking them to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further care. An ambulance service spokesman said their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or serious.
It is the second crash at the notorious junction in three days.
