A road had to be closed in Hitchin this morning after a collision involving a car and a cyclist.
The crash, involving an 18-year-old cyclist and a black Honda jazz happened just before 9am in Periwinkle Lane at the junction with Grove Road.
The road was shut while the cyclist received treatment for what has been described by police as ‘minor injuries’, before reopenin by 1.025am.
The driver of the Honda, a woman, was uninjured but suffering from shock, a spokesman said.
