There is heavy congestion on the A1(M) southbound this morning between Baldock Services and Stevenage, as well as on the A1 southbound near Sandy.
The traffic is slow from Junction 10 for Baldock Services, and hardly moving between Junction 9 for Letchworth Gate and Junction 7 for Stevenage.
A police spokesman confirmed to the Comet at 8am there had been no crashes on the stretch this morning.
There is also heavy congestion on the A1 southbound near Sandy.
