A motorbike and a car collided on the A1(M) this morning (Wednesday) causing heavy traffic during rush hour.
Emergency services were called at about 8.40am after a motorcycle and a blue Mercedes were in collision on the southbound carriageway between junction 8 and 7 for Stevenage.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, sustained minor injuries and has been treated at the roadside.
Motorists are able to pass the two vehicles, but traffic is slow.
