The A1(M) has been heavily congested this morning after a three-vehicle crash during rush hour.
The collision took place on the southbound carriage near Junction 6 for Welwyn at about 8am.
Nobody was injured and the vehicles were moved on to the hard shoulder.
Southbound traffic remains congested between Junction 9 for Letchworth Gate and Junction 7 for Stevenage, while northbound Junction 6 and Junction 7 are also heavy.
