A broken down train between Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City is causing delays for commuters between London King’s Cross and Stevenage, via Potters Bar.
Great Northern adds: “As a result of this, trains may be delayed or cancelled.
“Disruption is expected until 8pm.”
However confused passengers have taken to Twitter amid claims that on-board announcements referred to “signalling” or “electricity failure” as the reasons for the delays, not a broken down train as stated on the Great Northern website.
