A 16-year-old girl has been hospitalised with a head injury after a collision with a car in Stevenage.
Paramedics raced to the scene of the accident on Six Hills Way between the Colestrete and Rockingham Way junctions after the alarm was raised shortly before 3.30pm.
East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The young girl received a head injury and following treatment and stabilisation at the scene by paramedics, she was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
The driver of a silver Chevrolet was unhurt.
