Both lanes of the A1(M) were temporarily blocked this afternoon after a crash near Stevenage involving four vehicles.
Police were called to the northbound carriageway near to Junction 7 for Stevenage at around midday, after a collision involving a black Skoda Citigo, silver Audi A4, blue Vauxhall Zafira and a white Ford Transit van.
There were no injuries reported, but initially both lanes of the motorway were blocked.
The carriageway is now clear with the vehicles on the hard shoulder, with recovery of two imminent.
