Firefighters were called to attend an accidental loft fire this morning (Friday).
Hertfordshire Fire service were called to attend a loft fire in a house in Broadwater Avenue at 4.30am this morning.
The fire started in the roof space before spreading to the bedrooms, and the cause of the fire was described as “accidental”.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Five fire engines attended the scene and the house was declared safe at 7.44am.
