FIRE crews were called to the scene after a van began producing smoke from its engine this morning (Tuesday).
Services attended the incident between junctions 8 and 9 on the A1(M) northbound at 10.05am.
The smoke was put out using one hose and crews left shortly after. No-one was injured in the incident.
