Firefighters were called to a blaze at a school last night (Sunday).
One crew from Shefford and one crew from Biggleswade were called at 9.42pm to a small fire at Robert Bloomfield Academy in Shefford.
The fire broke out in the storage room of the old lower school building which is now derelict.
Two breathing apparatus and one hosereel were used.
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was most likely started deliberately.
