Emergency services were called this afternoon (Thursday) following reports of a car hanging over a subway.
Police and the ambulance service were called at 1.58pm to Letchworth Gate, Letchworth, after a silver Volkswagen Polo ended up hanging over the subway following a crash.
No one was trapped in the car.
But police are still at the scene waiting for the car to be recovered.
The subway has been closed to pedestrians.
