All lanes have reopened after a multi-vehicle crash on the A1(M) northbound near Stevenage this evening (August 17).
Both lanes between Junctions 7 and 8 were close around 7.20pm this evening, with traffic getting through only by passing on the hard shoulder.
Emergency services attended the scene and reopened one lane by 7.45pm.
Vehicles have been recovered and normal traffic conditions have resumed.
