TWO drivers were hospitalised on Saturday after separate village car crashes.
At 8.35am the emergency services were called to Luton Road in Great Offley where a man in his 40s had collided with two concrete roadside bollards.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the man was taken ill at the wheel of his black Peugeot 107 prior to the collision. He was taken to Lister Hospital for treatment.
On Saturday evening at 9.49pm paramedics were alerted to a car on its roof in Bennington Road, Aston after a car failed to stop for police officers.
The male driver was taken to Lister with minor injuries. A second man in the car was uninjured.
