A car crashed into a property in Stevenage this morning causing a large amount of damage and leaving the driver in hospital.
Emergency services were called to Scarborough Avenue at about 10.10am following the crash, with the fire service reporting that there was ‘a large amount of damage’.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the driver – a man – was taken to Lister Hospital in the town with a ‘seatbelt injury’, and was suffering from shock.
