A motorist has been taken to hospital after a crash on a lane linking two major roads in Hitchin this afternoon.
Willow Lane, which links the A505 towards Luton with the A602 towards Stevenage, was closed for a period after the crash shortly before 2.30pm.
Police said the crash involved two vehicles.
An ambulance crew and ambulance officer treated one of the drivers, a man in his late teens, before taking him to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further care.
A ambulance service spokesman said his condition is not thought to be serious or life-threatening.
