A 34-year-old Stevenage man was charged with drink driving last night (Tuesday) after the car he was driving flipped over on a country lane blocking the road.
David Piggott of Clay End, Walkern managed to walk unscathed from his overturned Ford Focus which was blocking Aston Lane after it hit a kerb shortly before 8.30pm.
Paramedics assessed the man while police closed the road. It was reopened at 10.15pm after the car was recovered.
Piggott will appear before North East Herts magistrates on November 21.
