A SMOKING vehicle and two car collision have caused traffic problems on the A1 (M) around junction 7 for Stevenage this morning (Wednesday).
Police and fire services attended a smoking black Volkswagen Passat on the southbound exit of junction 7 at 9.25am.
One slip lane was closed while the car was removed and has since reopened.
A further incident involving two cars travelling northbound on the A1 (M) occurred shortly after.
Police arrived on the scene of the crash between junction 6 for Welwyn Garden City and junction 7 for Stevenage around 9.50am after a red Fiat Punto and a blue Vauxhall collided.
No one was injured.
