There are delays of up to half an hour on the A1(M) southbound this morning between Baldock services and Stevenage following a crash near Junction 7.
A black car and a red transit van were involved in the collision on the soundbound carriageway just past Junction 7 at about 6.30am.
They were very quickly on the hard shoulder and there were no injuries reported, but there was some glass on the road.
Highways England is reporting delays of between 15 and 20 minutes between Junctions 7 and 8, and up to half an hour between Junctions 8 and 10.
