Delays after motorcycle and car collision in Stevenage

Minor delays were caused following a collision between a car and a motorbike.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Bessemer Drive, in Stevenage, at 4.02pm after a silver Volkswagen Polo and a black Aprilia motorcycle were involved in a collision.

Police temporarily closed off the nearby junction with Gunnels Wood Road.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 17-year-old boy, received a minor leg injury but was not taken to hospital.

The junction has now been reopened.
