The A1(M) is now clear after a car crashed into the central reservation this afternoon.
Police stopped traffic heading northbound after a silver Vauxhall Corsa crashed between Junction 5 for Lemsford and Junction 6 for Welwyn.
Emergency services were called at 12.40pm but the car has since been recovered and the motorway is now clear.
No-one has been seriously injured.
