Delayed train services are ‘returning to normal’ following a death on the tracks.
A man, whose identity remains unknown, was killed after being hit by a train at Welham Green station at 9.31am today (Tuesday).
Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
Trains between Stevenage and London King’s Cross Moorgate had been delayed by up to an hour, however a spokesman for First Capital Connect said: “Train service is now returning to normal after the person hit by a train at Welham Green.”
