A cyclist has been taken to hospital with a chest injury this morning after a crash involving a car in Hitchin.
The crash happened on the roundabout at the corner of Walsworth Road and Verulam Road, next to The Radcliffe pub, at about 7.10am.
The cyclist, a woman described as aged in her 30s, was treated by emergency crews at the scene before being taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further treatment.
Police also attended the scene and assisted the cyclist on the island in the middle of the roundabout.
