A cyclist is in a ‘serious but stable’ condition in hospital following a crash in Stevenage last week – and police are today appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.

The man, in his 40s, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit van in Hertford Road – close to the junction with Brookhill – at about 10.45am on Thursday last week.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or those who believe they saw the cyclist or van prior to the collision.
