A cyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car in Hitchin this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to reports of the crash on the A600 Bedford Road at 7.51am, which involved a silver Vauxhall Astra.
Medical crews took the cyclist, a man in his 50s, to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further treatment on a head injury.
Police closed the road for a spell, and had it open again by 8.45am.
