A CYCLIST has been hospitalised following two crashes in North Herts this morning (Friday).
Emergency services were first alerted to a collision involving a bike and a blue Vauxhall Astra at the junction of Norton Way South and Station Road in Letchworth GC at 8.55am.
The cyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with minor injuries.
Ambulance crews were then called at 9.40am to a crash near the BP petrol station in Stevenage Road, Hitchin.
A black Mercedes E220 and a blue Piaggio motorbike were involved, with a 19-year-old motorcyclist assessed by paramedics at the roadside after sustaining minor injuries. The man did not require hospital treatment.
