Firefighters were called to a small fire at a cricket club in Hitchin yesterday evening.
One crew attended the scene at Hitchin Cricket Club, in Lucas Lane, after reports of a small fire in the open at about 5.55pm.
A spokesman for Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue said the cause of the fire was unknown, but ‘doubtful’.
It was put out by 6.10pm.
