A petition that called for traffic calming measures on a busy road has received backing from Herts County Council (HCC).
The item, which proposes traffic calming measures on North Way North, Letchworth GC, was heard at the HCC Highways and Waste Management meeting on February 4.
A spokesman for the council said: “Speed data suggests there is a speeding issue with Norton Way North. We have now put this road forward for part of our wider speed compliance scheme.
“This will include a feasibility study to look at a range of options to reduce speeds within current guidelines. The results of this study will be determined in due course.”
