Children injured in two-car smash

TWO children and two adults were hospitalised following a car crash in Stevenage this afternoon (Friday).

Emergency services were alerted to the junction of Six Hills Way and Gresley Way at 1.21pm to a report of a two vehicle collision.

Two ambulances from Stevenage and one from Letchworth attended the scene.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A woman and two children in one of the cars involved all received minor injuries. A woman in the other car involved also sustained minor injuries.”

All four were conveyed to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
