Traffic remains heavy on the A1(M) this morning after a car spun and hit the central reservation earlier.
A blue Toyota Auris was travelling southbound between Junction 7 for Stevenage and Junction 6 for Welwyn when it spun and hit the central reservation, coming to a stop on the hard shoulder after hitting another barrier on the near side.
Police were called to the scene at about 7.25am, with ambulance crews attending at 7.50am.
A woman in her 30s was treated on the hard shoulder but did not need to go to hospital.
The car was recovered at 8.20pm but traffic remains heavy, with police still at the scene.
