A woman walked unhurt from her mangled car this morning after crashing into bollards and flipping over on a busy main road between Stevenage and Knebworth.

The driver in her 20s was examined by paramedics at the scene of the crash on Stevenage Road, near to the Deards End Lane junction in Knebworth shortly after 8am this morning (Thursday).

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “We believe the car collided with road bollards, flipped over and came to rest back on all four wheels. The woman was checked over by paramedics and did not require hospital treatment.”
