A car has overturned and ended up on its roof at a Stevenage roundabout this afternoon.
Police were called to the junction of Chells Way and Fairlands Way at 12.07pm to find the car on its roof.
Ambulance crews, a rapid response vehicle and an ambualance officer were also sent to the scene to assist the driver – a woman in her 80s.
The woman had got out of the car herself, and an ambulance service spokeswoman said there were “no obvious signs of injury”. She was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further checks.
