A MAN has been hospitalised after the car he was driving crashed into a wall this afternoon (Monday).
Ambulance crews from Hitchin and Letchworth GC were called to the scene in Hawthorn Close, Hitchin, at around 3pm.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “We believe the man to be in his 60s and he received slight injuries to his back.
“Paramedics stabilised him at the roadside before conveying him to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.”
