A WOMAN was taken to hospital after the car she was driving collided with metal railings today (Sunday).
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to James Way at 10.01am.
An ambulance crew from Letchworth GC attended the scene.
EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson, who attended the collision, said: “The woman was checked over by the crew before she was taken to the Lister Hospital for further care. Her injuries were non-life threatening.”
Mr Sanderson added: “I must stress the importance of driving very carefully during the adverse snowy and icy weather we are experiencing. There has been several road collisions trust wide and we are asking everyone to stay safe.”
