A BOY has been in collision with a car this evening (Wednesday).
Ambulance crews were called to Fishponds Road, Hitchin, just before 5pm following reports a young boy – believed to be around nine-years-old – was in collision with a car.
He sustained minor injuries and was checked over by paramedics, but does not require further treatment.
Police have closed the road at the Bedford Road end, after being alerted by the ambulance service. Traffic is said to be busy in the area.
