A YOUNG boy has been hospitalised with a head injury after he fell off a garage wall this afternoon (Friday).
An ambulance crew from Stevenage were called to Brent Court in Silam Road, Stevenage, at 3.22pm to attend to the 12-year-old boy.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance also attended the scene due to the nature of the injury, landing in the park behind Stevenage Swimming Pool.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The young boy fell approximately 15 feet on to concrete next to the garages.
“Paramedics and a doctor from the air ambulance treated and stabilised him before he was conveyed by land to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage. He sustained a head injury.”
